Commercial Description:
A honey beer that never lets you forget the fact. Although there is only a slight trace of it in the nose the intensity of the honey in the palate may be a bit much for some people. This is an accomplished beer that oozes quality yet retains a small brewery taste. Also sold as Berenbier in Flanders.

Short foam that goes down to a thin lace. Earthy aroma and wet flowers, Spices mostly koriander and honey. The taste is typical belgian with a sweet honey finnish.

Bottle @ home.
Clear medium yellow color with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white to white head. Aroma is moderate yeasty, moderate honey. Flavor is moderate sweet and bitter with a average duration. (Bbitternes is strange ala sour malt / honey bitter). Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. (120508)

Courtesy of Yespr. The beer floods out of the bottle upon opening. The color is warm golden with a lot of sediment, and the head is nice and creamy. The aroma has notes of sweetness, honey and malt. The flavour has sweetness, notes of honey, citrus, light alcohol and it ends on a dry and a bit harsh note. The overall impression is a bit to sweet.

Terrific acidity and faint whiffs of honey kick off this decent offering from usually ho-hum La Binchoise. A fair beer when poured, with great fluffy clouds of white and hazy deep orange hues, this ’bear beer’ lingers and sits well enough in the tummy to warrant another go.

Hazy golden with medium off white head. Sweet fruity aroma with notes of yeast, coriander and caramel. Sweet flavor with ripe fruits, yeast, caramel and warming alcohol in the end. Alcohol well hidden.
