The honey comes through nicely in the flavour and pretty much dominates. DocLock (4648), Lower Pottsgrove, Pennsylvania, USA
| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Oct 21, 2005 Bottle from the Epicurean. Pours dark straw with a 1-finger white head. Aroma of citrus, some malt, and a gueuezy element. This one smells like some of the Cantillons I’ve had. The palate is medium, and not very complex, providing flavors of citrus, hops, and some fruit in its semi-sweet finish. I didn’t get much honey out of this. tiggmtl (4311), Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada

Hazy blond body is topped by a huge, fizzy, white head that recedes rapidly to ring. Cake-like yeastiness over herbal hops and lightly musty malt flavour. Light body with lively, refreshing carbonation. Bottle sampled at RBESG 2005. Resampled (Oct-06) a bottle from BCLS purchased Sep-06 with similar notes and scores. | 3.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Sep 19, 2005 A Mes rate:
Straight forward blonde looks. Chunky honey nose and flavour with a bit of iron and curiously bin bags too. I kid you not. Touch of smokey bacon about it with bread and corn. Long sweet honey finish. Bit over the top on the honey all round for me but I am trying to rate the style. Dorqui (1361), Brescia, Italy
| 2.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 2/5 | 12/20 | Sep 7, 2005 Friable and compact foam, good persistence. Yellow pale color, tending to the clear green, medium bubbly, lightly hazy. Light scent of honey, pear, alcohol and malt. Light taste, apparently much less than 8,4%. Little prickly and little perfumed. Sweetish and pleasant end. argo0 (6998), Washington DC, USA

Aroma is moderately sweet, honey, flowery, orange, light grassy. Taste is moderately sweet, honey, flowery/perfume, light astringent finish. Smooth medium body. Pretty uninteresting. | 2.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 10/20 | Aug 23, 2005 Foamy white head, unclear golden body with yeast sediments. Dry herby aroma with peppery tones. Sweet and sharp in the flavor dominated by yeast and herbs and maybe hints of something honeyish, but not a lot. Rather unbalanced and not very interesting either. Easy forgetable. JensenTaster (1588), Denmark
| 2.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 11/20 | Aug 22, 2005 (on bottle-thx Jacob)This is, Jacob told me al least, the highroller of the brewery. dosen´t quite shine through as a uniqe beer at first. has a strange sour+detist-like-floral aroma. Very high carbonated, good. Not a lot of honey-flavour, but a distinct finish of beesvax and carameld canesugar. Intersting beer.
