Aroma is orange, honey, yeasty, bubblegum and coriander. Taste doesn’t disappoint, with the same elements; nice dry finish, and the alcohol is well hid. Moderate carbonation; crisp and drinkable. Very nice. LordCorkscrew (976), Ronco Scrivia (GE), Italy

| 4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 17/20 | May 11, 2005 Poured into an Aventinus glass(the only clean classy glass available), it looks beautiful, a glowing orange color, significantly hazed, lighter at the bottom, capped with a lean layer of white foam.
Aroma has all the usual hallmarks of a saison or a biere de garde, yeasty, sour, a bit of funk, plentiful fruit, but this one is topped by pleasing, mellowing honey tones. Nice, again.
That honey flavor is much more pronounced in the taste, heck, it’s fairly tangible, slick and supple on the palate, and only growing bigger.
Medium bodied, with honey and lemon on the ever-so pleasant finish.
Perhaps the most honeyish of any honey beers I’ve tried, beating the previous champ, Dupont’s Biere du Miel.
I like it.

| 4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 5/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 16/20 | Jun 8, 2005 Very livey beer with faint cloudy rim and with an outstanding big white head. The aroma is dry and has hints of fresh fruit and flowers. It also has hints in the nose of green prunes and wet birch-wood. The taste is sweeter that expected, it has a full boddied caracter with a smooth malty mouthfeel. In the taste there is a very nice honeyed aspect with a nice touch of sweet cookies and butter caramels. In the aftertaste you can notice some touche of flower pollen, butter-cakes and a well integrated slaight bitterness. Original beer with a good balance and a great refreshing carbonation in the end. | 3.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 16/20 | Feb 3, 2004 Bottle conditioned. Hazy gold, good thick fluffy white head and good condition. Low sweet aromas of malt and flowery honey. Fine tingle of bubbles on the tongue, honey sweet in the mouth with a spicy corriander note. Sweet and chalky finish with some rough edges and a lingering chilli spiced burn at the end.
