Commercial Description:
Available with two labels - Blonde in Wallonia and Fakir in Flanders and Canada. Though it is also relabelled as La Molagnarde Blonde. This is a particularly good blonde beer with lots of strong, clean citric hop character throughout. The orange peel that is included amongst the ingredients tends to only come through in the nose. We find this beer is great when served straight from the fridge as a little of the freshness is lost as it warms up.

Hazy yellow. Fruity sweet aroma. Very carbonated. Sweet and a little spicey. A nice light refreshing flavor. Kinda simple but still pretty good.

Hazy orange color with decent white head. Fruity aroma of orange peels. Light body with roasted flavors with some herbal hops. Smooth carbonated palate. Hides alcohol very well and is refreshing - for a hot summer day. For winter this is too thin :)

Spicy astringent aroma, talc, flowery citrus hops. Sweet neutral fruits. Cloudy butterscotch amber with creamy white lacing head. Medium watery body with active carbonation. Starts with light malt sweetness, some banana esters, wheat and yeast. Dry light bitter finish, citrusy, with a bit of astringent citrus. After is dry and astringent, but overly bitter.

75cl bottle, BBD 31/09/05...Straw color, big white head...musk, spicy corriander nose, floral aromatics...Smooth, mellow, spiced ale...finishes dry but subtly bittersweet. Somewhat reminds me of Chouffe, enjoyable, soft, spicy beer. Lowish ABV makes it a good sunny day quaffer. Much different lable than the one pictured here. I do agree this is a good one to drink well-chilled, as I did for this rating...my cellar temp drinks of it haven’t been as enjoyable.

Fresh, fizzy, tart fruit aroma. This was a little one dimensional - tart, somewhat dry and peppery - without much character. Somewhat like a watery wit. Palate was wheaty-thin. Finish is quick, tangy and lightly bitter. Cork says lot no. 136287. Not sure if that’s the beer lot or the cork lot.

Pours a golden colour with a rapidly dissapating head. Mild aromas of spices, yeast, pepper. The flavor was quite thin. The carbonation seemed to take from the flavours. Some pepper, corriander, med citric hops with a dry finish. So so.

Bottle from Beers of Europe. Slightly cloudy, golden colour with large white head. Aroma is oranges and floral, some coriander. Taste is citrus and coriander with a crisp, slightly sweet yeasty finish. Nice.

Poured from a 750 mL botttle. Light, slightly cloudy gold color. The head is white and thin. Aroma has citrus, flowers and a slight sourness of lemons. The taste has a sweet tangerine hint. It also reminds me of emon bread with a hint of corriander at the end. A very solid and subtle entry that is nicely balanced. Very smooth.
