Commercial Description:
Available with two labels - Blonde in Wallonia and Fakir in Flanders and Canada. Though it is also relabelled as La Molagnarde Blonde. This is a particularly good blonde beer with lots of strong, clean citric hop character throughout. The orange peel that is included amongst the ingredients tends to only come through in the nose. We find this beer is great when served straight from the fridge as a little of the freshness is lost as it warms up.

Draught @ Eulogy in Philadelphia. This is on tap at Eulogy as "Eulogy’s Busty Blonde". It pours a cloudy, dark golden color. There was almost no head on my pour. The aroma is milder. I get some notes of corriander, citrus and maybe some wheat. The taste is quite good. There is some tartness to the beer, as well as some hints of orange, corriander and a wheat body. Nice and refreshing.

Bottle. Average frothy white lasting head. Fair lacework. Light cloudy orange color. Aroma of caramel, grain, citrus, soap, coriander and fruit. Medium bodied with an average carbonation. Moderated sweet flavor with light bitterness. Sweet finish.

Bottle@Beer Circus, Brussels, Belgium. Bright golden/yellow beer with a strong head. The aroma is fruity and the flavour is fruity and yeasty. Overall a nice fruity, yeasty and mildly dry beer that is mainly sweet.

Bottle sampled. Pours hazy golden with a small fluffy white head. Aroma of sweet malts, honey, citrus, and slight fruit. The flavor is sweet malts, spices, citrus, and a nice presence of hops in the finish. Good brew.

Bottle. clear pale yellow with small white head. Very yeasty, musty aroma. Strong bitter notes, yeasty flavour dominates.Palate a bit thin for alcohol content. Great aged taste to it... would go great with an aged cheese. Citrus notes definately present as well. A unique offering. I imagine taste strongly dependant on these particular yeast strains.

Pours a five-finger white head that fades quickly to a thin layer leaving some lace. Ugly pale cloudy amber color. Weak fruit/yeasty nose. Light-medium carbonation and medium bodied. Flavor is light sweet fruit/yeast that fades to a sour/metallic finish. Disappointing blonde. Label has 6.2% ABV, best by 4/24/2007, $3.80 for a 330ml bottle from Tully’s Beer & Wine Wells, Me.
