Commercial Description:
Available with two labels - Blonde in Wallonia and Fakir in Flanders and Canada. Though it is also relabelled as La Molagnarde Blonde. This is a particularly good blonde beer with lots of strong, clean citric hop character throughout. The orange peel that is included amongst the ingredients tends to only come through in the nose. We find this beer is great when served straight from the fridge as a little of the freshness is lost as it warms up.

The aroma is sweet with notes of fruit, flowers, and corriander. The color is hazy orange and it has a small disappearing head. The flavor is sweet with notes of honey, flowers, and corriander. An OK Blonde.

(Bottle 33 cl) Hazy golden with a nice fluffy head. Fresh and fruity - almost perfumy - nose. Sweet malt and again almost perfumy flavours - there’s gotta be a shipload of coriander in here. But pefectly balanced by some hops in the finish. A great summers beer. 030398

Bottle @ home.
Light unclear medium yellow orange color with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, white to off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, citrus, fruity, moderate yeasty. Flavor is moderate to light heavy sweet and bitter with a average to long duration. (Bitternes is citrus - lime shell bitter). Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. (120508)

Bottle, 6.5%. Nice and creamy apricot aroma. Cloudy orange colour. Small, stable, tight white head. Quite dry flavour, but with a nice hoppiness which is fruity and teaish. High carbonation. Very harmonious and good.

Bottled. Orange colour with small particles floating around, mediumsized off-white head, which disappears into a thin layer in a while. Nicely lacing. Aroma is grass, citrus fruits, some yeast and some very mild rubbery notes. Flavour is citrusfruits, some grass, mild hay and earth. Mouthdrying palate, as well as a quite crisp carbonation.
