Commercial Description:
Available with two labels - Blonde in Wallonia and Fakir in Flanders and Canada. Though it is also relabelled as La Molagnarde Blonde. This is a particularly good blonde beer with lots of strong, clean citric hop character throughout. The orange peel that is included amongst the ingredients tends to only come through in the nose. We find this beer is great when served straight from the fridge as a little of the freshness is lost as it warms up.

Poured a hazy medium copper in colour, with a tremendously large white foamy head; some slight lacing involved here. Aroma was sweetish like malt but more fruity. Taste was most complex and intriguing, being of spices and fruit. Great stuff!

For such a strong beer it is remarkably drinkable. Fruity and typically Belgian.

Huge, intense floral aroma. Lots of coriander, plenty of fruity esters, beautiful aroma. Full bodied. Very refreshing. Flavor is full of honey, subtle coriander, with a nice crisp yeasty finish. Excellent.

butt loads of grainy hops in the aroma and a LOT of citrus (about 99% lemon) in the flavor. color and head are typical hazy belgian golden. quite a bit of coriander in the finish. i was pleasantly surprised at the hops in this one.

Bottle: Spice in the front, spice in the rear. WOW! By the aroma I would swear this is Witbier (my fav style), albeit a bit light for the style. Bottle pours a hazy orangish/yellow color with minimal white head. Definate orangish aroma that stays through the initial taste and finish. Not as spiced as a Wit, but good otherwise. I wish more Belgian Blondes were like this one. Me Likeeee...
