Sweet tastes filled w/ pure malt, yeast, and moose/choc. undertones. A very easy drink, that still pleases w/ malt that gets a little funky in the linger. SHIG (2048), Aviano, Italy

Aroma is quite nice with big chocolate maltiness and big fruity esters also a bit of earthy yeastiness. Flavor is very malty with nice roasty notes, chocolate, finish is moderately dry. Mouthfeel is smooth and soft though not oily. Quite a nice Abbey Dubbel though way maltier than average. Palidor19 (1798), Brandon, Florida, USA

Big fan of la binchoise varieties and this is no exception. Deep brown with a patchy beige head. Aroma of malt, chocolate and strawberries - a lovely combination. Taste of chocolate strawberries, malt, spice and bread with a hoppy edge. Nicely spiced finish of malt and coffee. Mmmmmm.
