| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 8/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Jul 6, 2006 Cloudy nut brown with a big tan head. Initially it’s all yeast in the nose, but fruit becomes increasingly evident too-- berries and apples-- along with something sweetly spicy. It’s hard to pin this one down. The palate is the same way-- lots of pleasant flavours wrapped up in a yeasty sweet blanket. Interesting and good! yngwie (5051), Kristiansand, Norway
| 3.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Jul 6, 2006 Bottled. Reddish brown, slightly hazy, with a beige head. Disappointing aroma and flavor of citrus and dish-washing soap, but definately bad, just one-dimentional and disappointing. Some sweetness too in the flavor. Medium body and a mostly citrus-like finish. Guess I expected something else from this one. (060704) CapFlu (3492), Victoria, British Columbia, Canada

Very nice smooth pruney malt aroma, oranges, licorice, and coffee. In mouth, a sweet candy or demarara sugar, with light hops, a bit of maderized malt, cold coffee, a bit lighter than expected, but very good. BB 17-11-05. Bottle from JM in BC. Merci JM!
