Initially a beguiling sweet and spicy taste of citric fruits, but rather thin and lacking body. Only a distant trace of bitterness. Magjayran (1379), Durham, North Carolina, USA

Citric (orangepeel) and yeasty aroma.
Dark red brown, low creamy head.
Minerallly earthy on the tip of the tongue, relatively light fruity (peach, apples, pineapple) body which canters over into a dusty mineral note and light bandaid. Exits fast hereafter. clifford0163 (93), Maryland, USA

| 3.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Sep 29, 2005 Aroma of chocolate, caramel and spice. Cloudy mahogony, trace of red at the edges, pours an enormous, long lasting, toffee head, with yards of lace. Flavour is woody, burnt almond, red plums, pomegranate, as it warms, it is hard not to gulp this offering. Complex, medium bodied, really well balanced, bitter, alcohol isn’t noticed. Fantastic!
