Commercial Description:
This beer looks like it means business right from the start. It is dark red brown with a good fluffy head and has a rich spicy malt nose with a few bitter orange notes. The palate has a big hoppy bite and a rich, fruity, dark coffee character, which tries to become roasted in the finish.

tasting notes from last year. bottle. Dark ruby colored beer with suspended yeast. Fruity sour aromas, crisp and clean. Starts somewhat sour toward the back of the mouth, quickly dissipates to strong malt flavors. Taste of ripe cherries, chocolate, bitter coffee andearthy spicy hops balance this out. Somewhat of a dry finish. Very good.

(Bottle) Pours a hazy brown colour. The aroma is earthy and a bit ashy with clear fruit notes of strawberries, cherries and oranges. Bit yeasty and some typical spicy notes are present. The flavour is fruity at first with strawberries and cherries. The finish is light orange sour with tones of ash, dust and earth. Bit yeasty in the flavour as well. Some background notes of white pepper both in the nose and taste. The mouthfeel is well carbonated but quite creamy. Dry ending. Medium bodied. The bottle label scares the living hell out of me, just like a hot fever nightmare, but like them moustaches.

Bottled. Hazy, dark brown colour with low head. Light milky acidic nose, with berries and some earthiness. Very fizzy mouthfeel with milkiness here as well, yet with accompanying malt sweetness as well as fruitiness.

(75 cl bottle at 3 Små Rum, Göteborg)
Shady dark brown color, small tan head. Subtle sweet, spicy and acidic scent. Dry charcoal and ashes, also metallic, taste. Very spritzy high co2 mouthfeel. Low bitterness. There are some strawberry esters initially in the taste, though it soon is overrun by the more potent characters.

Bottled. Deep ruby red colour, small beige head. Aroma is roasted malts, some ginger and other spices, fruits and yeast. Flavour is very much the same along with coffee and mild sugaryness. All the roasted/toasted notes are gone once the beer warms up a bit from being fridge cold. I liked it more when cold.
