La Binchoise Rose des Remparts

Had side-by-side with the Wittekirke Rose. Anything will be good next to that. However, the Binchoise Rose des Remparts has little to offer "women and young drinkers" as the commercial description reads. What a load of crap. Having said that, it isn’t as sweet as I expected and looks pretty nice in the glass.

Botle. Amber colour with a nice white head. Nice aroma of raspberry. Flavour of raspberry, little sweetness but not so much than you may expect. Very refreshing endeed.

Bottle. Small fizzy off-white head that mostly diminished. Light cloudy reddish color. Aroma of light grape, raspberry, sugar, vinegar. Light bodied with a thin texture and a lively carbonation. Moderated sweet flavor with light acidic. Raspberry finish.

From 25 cL bottle. Pours hazy orange with a lacing head. Very strong hindbaer. Flavour is candy sweet with a watery. Watery finish. Bland and artificial. I feel that this should have been mixed with water at the ratio of 1:5 and served for kids - reminds me very much of artificial raspberry juice.

Bottled. Reddish amber colour with small pinkish head. Aroma is raspberry bigtime along with some wheat. Flavour is big time raspberry with some slight earthy notes. Pleasant thing, but nothing very special.

Bottle kulminator, bbf 2004. I dont think age had helped this much as it seemed a bit old. A wit bier with cherrys added i suppose.

Bottle, 25 cl, best before 28.04.2007, savoured on February 7 2007; eye: amber with a dirty red hue, fizzy head that disappears almost immediately to leave a ring around the glass, no lacing, no effervescence; nose: strawberry, acidity of the fruits; mouth: sugar assault, strawberry, thin layer of caramel, finale in thinned strawberry with a hint of acidity that is objectionable, medium body, sticky and thin texture, quite carbonated, quite sweet, mildly acidic; overall: a bit too sweet and thin for me FRANÇAIS Bouteille, 25 cl, meilleure avant 28.04.2007, savourée le 7 février 2007; oeil : ambrée avec une teinte rouge sale, mousse pétillante qui disparaît presque aussitôt pour laisser un anneau autour du verre, pas de dentelle, pas d’effervescence; nez : framboise, acidité des fruits; bouche : assaut de sucre, framboise, petite filet de caramel, finale en framboise délayée avec une pointe d’acidité un peu désagréable, corps moyen, texture collante et mince, très carbonatée, très sucrée, moyennement acide; en résumé : un peu trop sucré et mince pour moi

Cloudy pink colour with thin white head. Sweet raspberry nose. Sweet and tart raspberry taste with lingering raspberry taste. A very pleasant and refreshing beer almost like drinkin raspberry ginger ale.
