Commercial Description:
Speciale Noel could only be a Christmas beer. It is a classic, warming winter ale with plenty of depth and a roasted, fruity malt character.

tap. pours a nice orange copper with a decent sticky head. love the aroma, figs and sweet dark fruits with a slight tart scent. great warming flavor that is malt forward, a touch of orange mixes well with the sweet fruit flavors. a nice finish that lingers with alcohol.

Lovely beer. Brown, ideal mouthfeel, and nourishing. A solid beer both in the sense that it is reliable and that it has a solid construction.

Re-rate from Cock & Bull. Medium mahogany/mousy brown. Very cloudy especially at the end of the bottle. Nice head. Extremely complex aroma. Lots of berries including wild blueberries. Stewed prunes too. Very malty aroma with with a fruity complex foreground of drenched peaches, sangria, even a touch of wood. Very soft carbonation. Not too carbonated. Palate is full of sweet fruits and mainly berries and plums and wood too. Mainly cherries, wild blueberries and cedar-like wood quality. Alcohol dries the finish. Has a candi sugar-like quality in the body and ends up with a peachy-pear juiciness that is easily resolved by the lingering complexity.

Big white head shrinks slowly. Biggish amber body with small yeast floaties. Alcoholic fruity licorice aroma with sour milk notes. Spicy fruity licorice taste with wooden, bready alcoholic notes. Peppery, hot mouthfeel, probably partly because of the alcohol. Dry, mealy aftertaste. Nice, but nothing special. Probably better if stored better. (0.33l bottle from Dorstvlegel, Antwerp.)

Bottle. [Thanks to Storm for sharing this one] Large creamy beige head that mostly diminished. Fair lacework. Clear flat looking body with a golden color. Aroma of caramel, grain, perfume, citrus, soap, clove, coriander, fruit and spice. Medium bodied with an average carbonation and light alcoholic texture. Moderated sweet fruity flavor with light bitter and acidic notes. Very fruity finish. Quit nice.

Bottle sampled with Beerded_one. Pours deep amber with a decent size off-white head. Aroma of citrus, spices, and fruit. The flavor is sweet, fruit, citrus, alcohol well masked, spices, mild bitter fruity finish. Good brew.
