Commercial Description:
Speciale Noel could only be a Christmas beer. It is a classic, warming winter ale with plenty of depth and a roasted, fruity malt character.

330ml bottle (bb.04.10.08) at Belgobaren, Stockholm. Very nice bottle design with angels. Deep brown body with great clarity and low-level head. Spicy aroma with a solid fruity touch. Flavour of ginger, coriander and pomecitron. Gets a bit too sweet in the ending (03.12.2006).

Orange/amber, offwhite head. Citric aroma, apples, wheat, rather malty. Malty, almost bready flavor, some citrus and sourish notes.

Deep amber color with initially big head of white cream that diminishes to a quarter inch of spotty white lace. Aroma is spicy and yeasty. Sweet malt and a clean finish. This was better than expected!

Hazy amber with a loose head. Tart hard candy, raisen and pomegranite aroma. Quite dry and spritzy. Spicy pomegranite flavor. The bitterness stands out from such a lean beer. Reminds me of De Block Speciale 6.

Nose of dark raisins, spices, and plums, slightly hazy amber with a big, long-lasting, glass lacing, beige head; flavor a little sweet, with raisins and banana esters evident, to go with some caramel malt.
