Very fruity aroma with a distinct Belgian yeast background. Taste is sweetish up front, but yields to fruity and yeasty notes on the finish. Not cloying at all, simply a well-done drinkable Belgian. Very nice. Butters (1651), Virginia, USA

Near clear brownish pour with rose highlights and small white head and small lacing. Sweet brown sugar fake apple aroma. Flavor has a peachy note but mainly apple. Overpriced. | 3.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 4/5 | 13/20 | Apr 5, 2009 Bottle: Amber coloured, cloudy, lots of floaties visible, small stable beige head; sweet spicy and caramelly nose with a dash of vegetables; full bodied, sweet flavour; a tinge of alcohol in the spicy (coriander?) and sweet-sugary finish. O.K., not that exciting......... Nuffield (2724), Roseville, Minnesota, USA
| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Mar 16, 2009 A really decent blend of flavors, with a powerful and yummy malty punch, allowing for plenty of fruit, and a good spell of flavors that let you know it is Belgian (some spice, some yeast). A bit thin for my palate. berkshirejohn (1830), Bracknell, Berkshire, England

Too sweet for my taste. TaxiDriver (943), Stadland, Germany
| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 13/20 | Jan 11, 2009 Bottle. A very light sour smell, a lot more of malt and bread, later on it gets light sweet. The head is normal, creamy and light brown, the body is dark brown. The first taste is light sour, then comes the malt. The duration is normal. The beer is creamy, medium strong with much carbonation. A good beer. TomDecapolis (3195), Skippack, Pennsylvania, USA
