Nose of peaches, apricot, whiskey, caramel malt and marshmellow. Sweet, peachy flavour with tones of apple malt and creamy peaches leave me floating in a momentary dream. Very enjoyable. dolemike1 (1129), Jeannette, Pennsylvania, USA

| 3.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 3/5 | 8/10 | 3/5 | 16/20 | Feb 20, 2005 Bottle conditioned, at Essen Kerstbierfestival 2004. Deep amber, thin off white head and gentle condition. Excellent sweet and spicy aromas with good maltiness and solid resinous hops. Just as good in the mouth with the spices, malt and piney hop notes all blending well. Lingering sweet spices in the finish with some balancing bitterness.

| 3.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Feb 18, 2005 A blueberry muffin aroma - yeast, biscuits, blueberries, lightly buttered. Muddy, medium-oak colored, one-finger head which fades quickly to a sparse tea-foam. Label looks like it belongs on a wine bottle. Very refreshing beer -- dryer than the aroma hinted, fizzy, tangy berries (like greenish blackberries or mulberries) , some toffee, some wood. Finishes crisp and quick, with a subtle long herb-bitter aftertaste. Medium bodied at best. This isn’t outstanding, nor very distinct, but it is pretty good. Jukkabro (3038), Tampere, Finland
| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Feb 15, 2005 Red-brown color, cloudy appearance. Big yellow head. Fruity, citrus, yeast, anis and mild spices in aroma. Medium to strong bodied. Sweet, fruity start in flavor, ends with spices which last. Some alcohol comes up too. cphbeerking (154), København K, Denmark
| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 5/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Jan 30, 2005 Lovely yeasty aroma, dense head, a darkish amber hue so fair -- this is an inviting brew through-and-through. Rather more bitter and watery than I’d have thought for a Belgian strong ale, though. By no means bad, but a feeling of disappointment does creep in, having expected a more luxurious experience that usually goes with the style. mdi (573), Nebraska, USA
| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Jan 28, 2005 75cl bottle BB 02/05 Pours almost red...amber...nice white head, rapidly streaming bubbles...aroma of ripe citrus, cinamin, gingerbread...Big, sweet, fruity, spicy beer. I get some rind of tangerine. Not really malty, just spicy, fruity, and sweet. Doesn’t seem too thick or cloying, though. Corriander sort of citrus is all over this thing. I’m torn between whether I like it some or this is just an overspiced beer devoid of any other character...it is somewhat like orange soda, a corriander cocktail. ..hits me more like candy than beer, like that Midnight Sun triple. About all I can say is, OK...
