Commercial Description:
Speciale Noel could only be a Christmas beer. It is a classic, warming winter ale with plenty of depth and a roasted, fruity malt character.

Brewtopia’04. Amber-red color. Smells fruity, orange blossom, and soapy. Tastes the same. Lots of corriander.

What a nice beer! Great yeasty/bread/candi nose. Cloudy orange color. Great head with lacing. Very complex flavors in the middle and in the finish.

Nice, rich. luscious - and I would like it far more save what was to me an overbearing taste of coriander. take that down a notch and I would love it.

Pours a clear deep copper with a dense off-white head. Saison-like aroma with fresh bready Belgian yeast, sweet caramel malt and a farmhouse character to it. Starts candi sugar sweet with a mild malty stickiness and a hint of soap in the finish. Has some floral attributes and the perfect amount of carbonation for a Belgian beer. Hides its alcohol well and goes down smooth.

Copper in colour. Aroma was slightly sweet, oranges, sugar and some yeast. Flavour of light malt, yeast, spicy and oranges. Medium body with only some alcohol coming through. Finishes with a mild bitterness.

Hazy amber colour. Complex and appetizing aroma of fruit (orange & peach), spice and floral honey. Flavour is sweet and malty, with some complexity that I’m sure I missed since this was tasted near the end of a sampling session of 30+ beers. But even with my battered palate, I really enjoyed it.

Slightly hazy amber red color. Aroma of lighter fruits, yeast, a bit of spice. Fruity flavor, apricot, orange, along with some yeast. Full body, nice masking of alcohol. A very nice Belgian.

Amber orange body, with an interesting aroma. Flavour is nice and seems to have a bit of spice to go with the malt. A nice beer that would probably have faired better in other circumstances.
