| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Sep 21, 2008 750, corked and baled. Pours a cloudy, almost murky ruddied dark amber with a thick, surging, moussy off-white head. Pleasant funky balsamic and red apple nose. Fizzy medium body, a bit on the dry side. Red apples, brown apples, and brown bread on the mid-palate. Gets a bit bitey and twangy near the end, and the finish is excessively drying; it’s positively arid, in fact. Might be nice mixed with something as a cocktail, but not sure what.
