Bottle from a dusty 3-pack from a Casino store in Menton (5%). A great find in my opinion, it was the last one there. Poured a murky orange body yeah with a small off white head that went away at a medium pace. A citrusy and honeyish nose, fresh, spicy and quite pleasant. A pleasant agrumey taste, lightly bitter with distinct honeyish notes. Slightly yeasty and lactic. As heavy said, quite full bodied for a wit. Light bitterish aftertaste. A slightly atypical but still quite nice wit. I like this brewery. A lot.

Bottled 330ml. -Courtesy of heavy (thanks!).
Hazy pale orange coloured, medium sized white head, citrusy herbal nose. Very fruity, slight yeasty and wheaty with notes of spices. No real acidity, rather sweet witbier.

A 0.33 l bottle from a Casino store in Menton. It poured murky orange body with smaller head. Cloying wheat aroma, banana, orange and cloves are just the most prominent things here. Pleasant and pretty complex flavor, estery with all those wheat and yeast flavors, orange, vanilla, biscuit and some caramel. Really full bodied and very tasty, which is actually strange thing for Wits. Longer, pleasantly sweetish finish. This is a great Wit. Mare Nostrum brewery makes really nice beers, I’m sorry we haven’t find more than 3 of them.

Bottle. Hazy pale yellow, huge head that leaves a bit too quickly. Wheat aroma, spices, fruit, some candy and some banana. Wheat and spice flavor, some bitter hops, some pepper, banana and candy notes.

12 oz bottle...purchased while in Nice. Poured a cloudy, golden yellow w/ a huge, mostly lasting, white head. Nose of citrus, yeast, spices...Flavors of heavy citrus, sweet yeast, some acidity towards the finish, a dash of malts, and a nice spicy (teeny bit of ginger?) bite. Very easy on the palate, a tad bitter and zingy, with a tingle from the carbonation. A very nice example of a Belgian white...

bottle. Cloudy pale yellow, large head. Yeasty and fruity, the added herbs and spices of the Mediterranean are detectable, which makes this beer something really interesting and special.
