Lubiere (3130), Ottawa, Ontario, Canada Mar 24, 2008 A lightly hazed ale with a very thin lacing white head. Sweet phenolic aroma, with honey and light spiciness. In mouth, a lightly sweet malt, with chalky notes, and sustained German hops. A bit cloying in the end. On tap at Montreal St-Denis location, March 16 2008.
rman18 (138), South Amboy, New Jersey, USA Jun 16, 2008 Light pale golden yellow with a very very small white head. There is a very light taste, flavor and the palate of water. I wasn’t impressed with much at this brewer and this was the worst of the 4 I tried. SHIG (1362), Oberoffligen, Germany Nov 9, 2007 Bottle: Poured a golden color with a white pillowy head. The aroma was fruit and hops. The taste is that of fruit or perfume with a dry hoppy spice finish. mabel (1246), Toronto, Ontario, Canada Aug 20, 2007 [515-20070811] Tap @ 3 Brasseurs (Montréal, QC). Light floral wheat aroma with a hint of tropical fruit. Clear, yellow gold body with a long-lasting creamy white head. Mango fruit and pineapple sweet flavour has a lightly sour pucker for a finish. Medium body, nice. Impressive. larsga (2086), Oslo, Norway Aug 3, 2007 Biggish white head. Pale yellow body. Light grainy malty aroma. Dryish mealy taste of Christmas spice with fruity notes. Surprisingly sharp. Dry, mealy sharp spicy aftertaste. Nice, but the spices are too sharp and unbalanced, on the whole not worth a detour. (0.275l on draft in Montreal, St.Catherine)
