Bottle from La Botteresse in St Georges, so this one might be unretired. Amber color, cloudy. Berries and a pinch of yeast in the aroma. Mudium to full bodied. Malty, flowery flavor with red berries and spices. Fairly alcoholic, just a bit yeasty. Not unpleasant, but lacking balance.

Cloudy amber with huge off white head. Sweet yeasty aroma with toasted malt and caramel notes. Sweet flavour with caramel, yeast, ripe fruits and alcohol notes. Ends sweet with warming alcohol.

33 cL bottle. Pours almost clear and golden amber with a lacing white head. Aroma is mild fruity and yeasty and mild spiced. Flavour is smooth and mild yeasty with a mild spice note too. Solid sweet and fruity accent with a light bitterness showing through. Light spice note too.

Bottled. Hazy dark amber colour, mediumsized longlasting beigeish brown head. Aroma is fruits, caramel malts, some mild notes of wood and syrup. Flavour is caramel malts, some spicyness, syrup and also wooden notes along with some slight touches of burning alcohol. As it warms up the alcohol makes more of a burning feeling in the mouth and throat. Yet a quite nice strong ale, which varies from the masses.
