Darker brown coloured beer with some average carbonation and a rather small white head. Strong herby aroma, with malty hints. Full palate. Finish is bitter herby, slightly alcoholic touched. Not bad.

Clear lightbrown coloured beer with fast diminishing brownish coloured head. Lots of carbonation. Perfumed spicy aroma. Full palate bit sparkling. Finish is spicy and bitter.

Bottle @ home. Murky brown color. Cardemom, malt and caramel in the aroma. Malty sweet flavor with caramel, cardemom and ginger. Alcoholic but drinkable.

Bottle (from Cracked Kettle). Deep reddish brown colour with huge beige foamy head. Aroma is at first very much licorice, then turns into spices and a lot of citrus fruits. Flavour is quite much licorice along with spices. Not that much fruityness in the flavour. Some mildly burning alcohol in the aftertaste, otherwise alcohol is very well hidden. Superb.

RE-tasted at home on 21 juli ’08. Bottle, 33 cl. (bought last year @ festival Hotton) Darkbrown color (little reddish shine), with beige head. Aroma first = liquorice, sweet, some others spice. Medium to full body. Taste dark roasted malts, sweet, liquoice again. Dry sticky finish.

Bottle@Home. Jasmin and raisin in the aroma. Reddish brown color, firm beige head, good lace. Sweet, vanilla, licorice, jasmin, light bitter. Medium body, silky, little warming. Flavorful, interesting because it’s quite out of the ordinary.
