| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Nov 24, 2009 750ml bottle, yellow gold color, with a big bubble white head, but falls quickly, and leaving soe laces, yeasty, mild fruity nose of green apples, pears, with some bready dough, pale, pilsener, wheat malt notes, with a hint of vanilla spiciness and a light floral hop grassy citrusy aroma follows through on a medium-bodied palate with a warmth, yeasty, fruity, light honeyed earthy grainy, pale, wheaty malt character with some faint flowery hop citrusy, grassy notes and some stewed apple, pear, spritzy citrusy, lemon notes with a flowery hop grassiness, leading towards a warming, fruity, green apple, citrusy, lingering hop dry finish. | 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Nov 22, 2009 My Bottom Line:
Peachy fruitiness and honeyed cereals stick to a bready yeast before this Tripel is taken to a shortlived fruity finish.
Further Personal Perceptions:
-A sheet of foam covers the cloudy blond.
-The malts could offer more flavor.
-Orange peels seem to ride the effervescent carbonation as well.
-This is nothing special, but it remains a classy Tripel nonetheless.
-Alcohol is well concealed.
-The finish is well dried out, coloured by a faint herbal hopping and its bitterness.

| 2.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 3/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 10/20 | Jul 1, 2009 Filtered "tripel". Looks OK but the beer is a real let down. Almost no aroma, flavour of bubblegum and something metalic. The only thing on offer here is some alcohol, but that is, as they say, well hidden. That’s probably because the body is thin and watery. No good points at all. Even the lable is awful. omhper (12245), Stockholm, Sweden
| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 12/20 | Apr 25, 2009 Bottled. Hazy pale amber, small head. Fruit and caramelly with peppery alcohol atop. Medium-full bodied with soft but rather thick mouthfeel. Lots of toffee, slight notes of citric hops. Quite intense. JorisPPattyn (5184), Antwerpen, Belgium
| 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Apr 6, 2008 Very good white, slightly irregular head; fed by lively carbonated orange-amber beer, slightly hazy. Fleeting whiff of good hops, then followed by citrus-sweet, and an aroma as from orange-oil on alcohol, genre Mandarine Napoléon. Again orange liqueur in the taste, but without the syrupy sweetness the nose suggested. Still, it has some restsugars. Slightly syrupy, bit burning MF, well-bodied. Nice, if a bit on the heavy orangey side. Still, I like this new brewery and this product! Danke, Seb!
