A fairly typical Normandy cider this one proved to be. It was dry from the word go. When first uncorcked, the aroma of stank mustiness arose. The pour was fairly dark full of fine dancing champagne like bubbles which settled to a calmer light fizz. The taste was a close relative to the nose, dry, dry, dry. Boting aftertaste that was indeed complex. Aged cider barrels with crisp orchard apple taste.

May 24, 2008 Bottle. Thanks.... John.... Pours a hazy yellow with a white head. Aroma, vinegar, apples. Flavor, apples, acidic, almost sour, vinegar notes, a slight sweetness. This wasn’t very good.

Feb 24, 2008 Band aid. If you love to suck on dirty band aids, this cider is for you! Yuck! Thanks Argo for putting the thought in my head of what that tasted like. Ugh, it really does taste like dirty bandaids smell.

Feb 24, 2008 (750ml bottle) Lightly sparkling and lightly hazed apple juice with quickly dissipating white head. Aroma is medium sweet, oak, apple/some tartness, light band-aid. Taste is medium sweet, apple juice, light seltzer, wood. Light body with light crispness.

Employee Tasting Notes (Belmont Station)--This 5% ABV cider seemed to gather the consensus that it was rather uninteresting. Chris even noted a slight medicinal "band-aid" finish that others agreed on. I thought it was decent, but really nothing to write home about.

Jul 29, 2007 in 750 mL bottle from Beertopia. pours gold with a big white head that at first is sufficient but quickly dies. very high carbonation. the aroma is of mop n glo floor polish. it still has a significant amount of sweetness to the apple flavor and is not very dry at all. the palate is tingly. it has a slight aldehyde esterous flavor. the beer is very bubbly and gaseous, even in your belly.

Jul 29, 2007 in bottle. smells like a band-aid. yellow/gold color, fizzy head that dissipates quickly. lands in the not-as-sweet side of apple ciders, with a wild yeast kind of taste on the side. Not sure it would be pleasant to drink more than a glass of such a gas-y beer...

Sep 14, 2006 Sulfury browned apples in earth with leafy, woody notes and some sweetness apparent in the aroma. Very clear though somewhat viscous yellow gold coloured body topped by a fizzy white head. Sulfur and earthy sensations carry through to the fairly dry, tart and bitter appleskin flavour that is perhaps a bit of a walk on the wild side. Dry, medium body with moderate to strong carbonation. Sampled at Mondial 2006.
