SHIG (1554), Oberoffligen, Germany Oct 12, 2008 Bottle: Poures a murky orange brown with a medium off white creamy head. Aroma is fruity and has a slight evergreen hint. Taste is pine and fruit, pretty hoppy for a Belgium. It’s a beautiful, warm amber color and the head is dense and creamy. The aroma is hoppy and fruity with a touch of spruce. The flavour has a nice sweetness that is nicely balanced by a hoppy bitterness. It has notes of fruit, spruce, cantaloupe melon, and hints of peach and tangerine. It’s really nice. fonefan (4884), Ulfborg, Denmark Apr 1, 2008 Bottle @ Zythos Bier Festival 2008, Sint Niklaas, Belgium.
