Jun 2, 2008 Draft @ Chez Moeder in Brussels, it’s lightly hazy amber in color with a tall white head. Spicy wood and strong juniper in the nose, along with lighter notes of soapy coriander and a mix of other such spices. Perfumed fluffiness but with a thick, oily body, the juniper and gin character is overwhelming, but I’m not a fan of gin at all. Wet, woody, oily gin in the finish. Overspiced.

Mar 8, 2008 ZBF2008: From tap. Pours hazy yellow with a dense and huge white head. Solid ginger and clove spiced aroma. Flavour holds the same solid spice notes to a mild caramel malt base and a mild sweetness. Ends rather herbal. Well crafted, but too spiced for my liking.
