Jan 15, 2008 Murky light copper hue with a big, frothy, soapy looking white head. The aroma is flush with a whole host of elements: pears, light and grainy breads, damp moss, sugar, cedar, nutmeg, ginger, apple pie, peaches and oak. Overall, mostly bright with some darker edges. A small knock is that it gets a bit soapy at times, probably the yeast. The flavour is fairly sweet and sort of spicy and herbal to begin. It shifts to a dryish affair at the finish, a bit leathery, mossy, grassy and yeasty. Quite a silky texture, medium to full body and champagne like carbonation. Refreshing, invigorating and fun...but the yeast doesn’t sit perfectly with me. BBE 29/08/2010, 75cl bottle.

Jan 10, 2008 Glass at Trappist. Nice Belgian style ale, Great yeasty aromas and a nice head. Flavors of bread, spices and oranges with a bit of piney hops in the background. Very smooth with a nice spicy finish.

Jan 10, 2008 Hazy amber with medium off white head. Fruity aroma with notes of orange, peach, flowers, yeast and sweet malt. Sweet flavor with orange peel, yeast and coriander.

Jan 9, 2008 Hazy golden colour, white head. Aroma is spicy and hoppy. Flavour is spicy and fruity. Nice bitterness. Alcohol well noticable. Nice beer.

Jan 2, 2008 750 ml bottle. Pours a cloudy honey yellow gold with a large white head. Unfiltered. Aroma of honey, nutmeg, coriander, pepper, bread dough and yeast. Taste is of lightly sweetened honey, coriander, nutmeg and fresh yeast. Has a slight peppery finish.

Jan 1, 2008 Feb. 2006 - Very good light Belgian strong ale. Poured cloudy yellow with huge-o head and lacing. Aroma was spicey and wheaty. Flavor was nicely balanced with a little extra sweetness in the middle and a nice crisp hop finish. Mouthfeel was bubbly, but enjoyable. Got a little overly sweet and a twinge of metallic taste once it warmed kept this from rating even higher.

Er mere orange/brun end gylden.
Duften er let sødlig med let belgisk gær og malt
Smagen er varm og fyldig. Minder på ingen måde om andre blonds: er mere krydret, bedre humle, og gæren ikke fremtrædende.

Dec 29, 2007 0.75 l bottle. Copper orange color with creamy white head. Nice clean aroma with pepper, clove, coriander, honeyish malt, orange and plenty of fruity esters. Coriander, clove, pepper, herbal hops and fairly firm bitterness in the flavor. Spicy and herbal-bitter finish. Tasty and clean!
