Poured cloudy yellow with huge-o head and lacing. Aroma was spicey and wheaty. Flavor was nicely balanced with a little extra sweetness in the middle and a nice crisp hop finish. Mouthfeel was bubbly, but enjoyable. Got a little overly sweet and a twinge of metallic taste once it warmed kept this from rating even higher. tenghave (402), Taastrup, Denmark
| 3.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 4/5 | 9/10 | 4/5 | 16/20 | Jan 1, 2008 Super super belgisk "kloster" blond.

Nice clean aroma with pepper, clove, coriander, honeyish malt, orange and plenty of fruity esters. Coriander, clove, pepper, herbal hops and fairly firm bitterness in the flavor. Spicy and herbal-bitter finish. Tasty and clean! TheEpeeist (1477), Swarthmore, Pennsylvania, USA

| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 4/5 | 14/20 | Dec 27, 2007 Bottle. Part 3 of the Achouffe Christmas 2007 tastings. Strong hops, light bread, a little bit sour, light spicy. Big white foamy head which stays quite long, the body is of dark gold. The flavor started light sweet and gets bitter, medium lenght. On the palate the beer is light to medium strong, a little bit oily and dry with quite an amount of carbonation.
This one is also a good one from the Achouffe brewery. weaselkenievil (738), Cheshire, England
| 3.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 17/20 | Dec 26, 2007 I’ve had this many times but never rated it. Certainly high on my list. Slightly cloudy but fizzy. Tastes a little like a white beer, am I the only one who thinks that? Lovely smell, light spices, sweet stuff and banana cake. And makes a great sauce. Very nice. kevd193213 (508), Hope Valley, Rhode Island, USA
