2005 keg on Draft: Pours a cloudy yellow with a big white fluffy head that slowly dissipates. Not a lot of aroma, what there is of honey malts and peaches. Flavor is much the same. Lightly sweet and fruity, peach and tangerine flavors, some phenolic character and a nice creamy body. Has a much thicker palate then you would think.

Poured from 11.2oz bottle into a Trappist glass. One finger white head that dissipates quickly. Lacing present. Coppery orange hue with lots of flotsam present. Great representation of the style.

Blind taste. Good head, creme of white color. One of the better beers at this blind tasting. A real Belgian.

Transparant copper with a medium-size head which faded rapidly. Aroma of honey, vanilla, also quite floral with some hop and spices. Strong, rounded and well-balanced taste of sweet malt (honey. liqourice, vanilla, somewhat grainy & bready), some slightly bitter hops in the long & sweet finish, plus some spices that blend in nicely. Mouthfeel has low carbonation, is somewhat watery, but fits the beer well. For a brew that is made at such large scale, in such large quantities, this is surprisingly nice.

Love it! on tap at Eulogy Belgian Tavern in Philadelphia, PA. pours a watered down tangerine hue, well carbonated, smells of sweet, fresh honey-lemon. tastes of wheat, sweet malts, light and goes down easy. golden ale. I could have had many.

A slightly peachy golden pour with a foamy head that fades to a light ring around the glass for the duration of the drink. An aroma of coriander and yeast. A flavor of light fruit and a spicy that I wanted to call nutmeg but I don’t think so. Not the aggressive carbonation that I expected. I liked that. I drank this beer at about 55* the 8% certainly did warm it up. Very good.

I visited the Brewery in Achouffe (Belgium):this beer is a home-made family beer, all around is the Ardenne forest full of gnomes. I like very much.
