On draft and poured into a chilled 16oz pint glass! This is on draft at Tony’s Place in Ivyland , Pa in Bucks County Pa. They have no clue to as to the rarity of this beer on draft in these parts despite Monks + The Belgian Cafe in Philly. I quickly transferred it to a tulip glass. A nice fluffy white head and a cloudy golden 2 row pale malt straw color. Lots going here yet a simple beer. There are hints of spice and dried fruit from the yeast but the rest of the beer is just superior craftsmanship. The 8% is not apparent at all and it is a perfect balance of all things Belgian as far as hops and malt. Awesome spicy nose too.

One of the best goldens I have tasted. Nice head retention and fairly complex.

750ml Bottle: Aroma of yeast, cookie, slight fruit, light spices, and a hint of lemon. Poured orange/amber/gold in color with a small, loose, white head that lasted throughout. Cloudy. Very sparkling. Full of medium-sized particles throughout. Flavor is light to medium sweet and lightly bitter. Tastes of yeast, cookie, sweet pale malts, slight hops, light caramel, and a hint of coriander. Medium body. Lightly dry texture. Average to lively carbonation. Yeasty, lightly sweet, slight hop finish. 8%ABV is undetectable.

11.2 ounce bottle from Whole Foods in Hillcrest ($4.99). Pours into tulip glass a peach-amber color with two fingers of white head. Aroma of spice and yeast, banana, and lightly sweet malts. Flavor pretty much follows the nose with yeast, spice, earthy malts, and fruit (banana as well light citrus). A nice hoppiness in the finish. Altogether a mellow brew but very drinkable and refreshing.

On tap at Ray’s place into tulip. Murky orange/straw color with off-white head, very much like the picture actually. Some tangy/biscuity sweetness in the nose but also the tang of the abv underneath. Flavor to match and the palate leaves you thirsty for more.

Bottle 33cl. Pours a muddy yellow colour with a great size head and little carbonation. Smells like some nice fresh fruits and freshly baked bread, great aroma. Taste is also bready and fruity, very nice aftertaste with a nice bit of burn going down.
