MuttyD (93), Cambridge, USA Aug 3, 2008 Golden color with thin white head that persists throughout. Fruity, floral and citrusy aroma. Similar to a farmhouse. Fruity and slightly hoppy flavor. Dry finish. Alcohol not noticable.

Pours amber, unfiltered appearance (good) with a huge, fluffy white head. Honey, currant, and straw aromas with no noticeable hop bouquet. A little bit sweet and sour: honey sweet up front followed by a grain husk astringency; aged hop flavor similar to Orval. Lingering honey sweetness as the beer warms. Medium body with a long clean hoppy finish.
Highly drinkable, which could be dangerous given the alcohol content. Overall, a very good beer that nails the style with ease. DanPain (38), beerland, United States Virgin Islands Nov 29, 2008 Golden Ale, strong, spicy, lightly hoppy, with evoluting taste. Natural Beer, bottle refermented, unfiltered, not pasteurised and without any additives Travlr (115), Washington, Washington DC, USA Nov 28, 2008 Cloudy gold color. Aroma of cinnamon and clove. Well-balanced. Slightly bitter finish. Good example of the style. brianbuntz (49), Santa Monica, California, USA Nov 27, 2008 Looks a little like a cloudy lager with bigger bubbles. Tastes like caramel apples and spices. Lightly hopped. Nice, unique beer. tlind2 (342), Helsinki, Finland Nov 21, 2008 750 ml bottle. Golden color, explansive white head. Spicy coriander aroma. Spicy flavor as well, with some alcohol and a malty finish. Medium body, high carbonation. Prickly mouthfeel. The carbonation is too heavy, but the flavor is nice.
