| 1.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 3/10 | 3/5 | 3/10 | 3/5 | 3/20 | Apr 21, 2009 Bottle, 8%. Weak phenolic aroma, band aid. Nice clear dark chestnut colour. Good stable light brown head. The flavour is also phenolic, and worse than the aroma. Band aid, chemical, strange liquorice. Genuine Choulette quality :/ TURDFERGUSON (1604), Carrboro, North Carolina, USA

Biscuit, earth, bread, and malt highlight the nose. The flavor is a bit more sweet and caramelly but has a nice belgian-like yeast finish that rounds it out. ALcohol hidden very well. emacgee (1891), Chapel Hill, North Carolina, USA
| 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 16/20 | Apr 15, 2009 Tasted with turdferguson. Pours a copper orange with some haze. Head is two fingers thick creamy and offwhite. The aroma is earthy, bready, malty, mild basementy character, more of a Belgian yeast feel than I was expecting. The flavor was sweet, candyish, mildly spicy, yeasty, earthy. Palate is smooth with a nice carbonation. sirPino (866), Zawiercie / Żywiec, Poland

Bottle green, 750 ml,
Appearance pours caramel nutbrown, dark burned orange, hazy body, honey like hue, there are yeasty fragments floating in the body texture, head is initially medium slowly decreasing to small and than to a minimal froth, rather no lacing, head was foamy and yellowish brown in colour, body looks as medium, there is a very nice natural saturation visible in the body,
Aromat front is caramelly sweet with slightly hidden notes of spices becoming present when the beer gets warmer, nice note of whipped cream, burned sugar and milk chockolate, sweet orange, very juicy and refreshing, but somehow on the other hand spicy, seems light in appearance but has a really, full character in the aroma, very Belgian Ale like aroma, slightly similar to Abbey Beer, very considerable note of leavy spicy and earthy hops spiced up by alcohol, prune, raisin, vanilla, grains, wheat,
Flavour front is quite soft in terms of the body but denotes high hoppyness, spicyness, leaves, herbal notes, rather soft in terms of aftertaste and mild on palate, alcohol is pefectly hidden and slightly warms up the flavour, woody touches, slightly toasted malt, very crispy and clean in flavour, finish duration is short to medium,
Palate body is medium but seems quite light, alcohol is perfectly hidden, texture is wattery, carbonation on palate is quite high but natural, finish feel is kind of dusty, gently alcoholic and generally neutral, what could be a kinf of disadvantage, if not the pleasant spicyness and kind of bitterness at the end DuffMan (2766), the land of bitumen, beef & beer, Alberta, Canada
| 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Nov 1, 2008 Beautiful bright hazy amber orange, thin skim of a head that vanishes almost before the first sip. Aroma of distinct soft caramel and candied orange. Rich caramel flavour, orange brandy. The finish is dry, medium bitterness, and surprisingly a little tart.
