Bottle: Poured a dark brown with a tan mushroom foarming cream head, slowly creeped back down the side of the glass. The aroma is toasted malts hints that it might contain a sugary caramel also. Taste is a roasted to burnt malt with some dark fruits and yet still hints of caramel (not overwhelming as others). The finish is dry with a slight acidic burn. Happy 30th B-Day me!

75 cL bottle. Pours clear amber to brown with dense tan head. Light malty into light roasted aroma, minor bitterhops note. Flavour starts caramel malty, shows a light roasted note and more caramel. Light caramel/chocolate smoothness. Minor acidic note following before a distinct bitterness takes over into the finish.

Bottle@Home. Strong aroma of laurel. Ruby color, beige head, very nice lace. Light sweet, laurel, hint of sourness, roasted malts, black berries, thin. Nice flavors but they fall short, thinnish and a strange sourness.

Brown with light brown head. Sweet aroma with caramel and chocolate. Flavor is sweet with caramel, roasted malt and nuts. Lacks complexity.

Bottle @ YNWA, Kolding. Pours a deep red mahogany with a small creamy off white head that stays for a good while. Aroma is extremely malty; dough and a little caramel. Flavour has slight caramel, rye bread with a dose of herbs at the end. The finish is lightly roasted.

Vegetable nose that is off-putting, with a dusty grainy effect too. Lovely clear shimmering brown color. Caramelly malt, grainy. Metallic feel. Lots of character and got better through the glass, but I just didn’t appreciate this all that much.
