Good looking dark beer with a slightly roasted and coffee aroma and a very sweet barley wine like flavour. Overall a disappointing beer.

Bottled. Thanks to DrNate. Dark copper colour. Milky acidic, vineous nose(like a flemish sour ale). Dry-ish, fair malty flavour, alcohol touch. No bitterness. Light-medium bodied. Weird beer. Would never have guessed it’s 7,5.

Corked 750ml bottle. Nice, and pretty classy stuff. Nicely vinous edge, earthy and lightly grassy. Beatiful slighlty bitter finish and dry, really lovely drink, some dark fruit notes.

Fine light brown head, rather fast disappearing, dark brown body. Mostly sweet malt and yeast aroma with tones of dark fruit. Flavor is roasted malty with some spicy tones and a touch of alcohol. Quite sharp in the taste, though rather thin bodied, and not very balanced. Drinkable, but not very interesting for a Belgian ale.

Amber or light chestnut color with a slight off white head. The taste is a fruity, nutty and slight sour base with loads of spices. Kind of thin and it finishes fast.

Little bubbles and rye taste. Copper brown. A but complex mid-taste with nuts and ripe fig fruit. Although a bit sweet, spices

Medium sweetness and alcohol aroma. Dark ripe fruit, brown sugar. Light-medium bitter and bread. Light tan foamy lacing head over dark copper clear. Medium watery body with light-medium carbonation. Sweet start with light bitterness, stays through finish. Pretty distinct alcohol tast, too. Brown sugar, molasses, deep ripe fruit. Finish and after has medium-light bitterness. Good beer.
