RCL (1443), Waltham, Massachusetts, USA Aug 25, 2009 This beer smells and tastes exactly like a liquefied version of wheat toast spread with raspberry jam. Tiny bit of tartness from the fruit, maybe, but not tart beer. JediMindTricks (239), Hampton, Virginia, USA Aug 1, 2009 Pour is crimson and pink with a nice pinkish head...nose is straw and sour raspberry...taste is sweet and barnyardish with raspberry all over the place...finish is a little too sticky...it is what it is... stchloe (473), Portland, Oregon, USA Jul 22, 2009 A nice light raspberry lambic. Really like champagne, but with little sweetness and sour. So far the best framboise. boFNjackson (1233), Portland, Oregon, USA Jul 18, 2009 Bottle @ PIB... Poured red with a white head. Very artificial raspberry flavors both on the nose and in the flavors. Like Raspberry soda with beer. Over carbonated and not dry enough. dkachur (2313), Charlottesville, Virginia, USA Jul 15, 2009 11.2 ounce bottle from World Market in Charlottesville, VA. Pours a pinkish red color, slight haze, with a medium head. fair head retention and decent lacing. Aroma is tart and slightly musty raspberries. Taste is tart raspberries with a bit of apple. Medium bodied. Decent beer. deyholla (505), Bloomington, Indiana, USA Jul 11, 2009 Bottle at ABC beer tasting. Poured red with an off white head. Aroma dominated by raspberries. Not overwhelmingly sweet and raspberries also add a nice tartness. 17thfloor (1402), Chicago, Illinois, USA May 24, 2009 750 bottle of over a year old. Nice strong raspberry aroma over top some distracting vegetable cracker funk. Pours a murky dull brownish purple with a small fine pinkish fizzy white froth. Biscuity, funky, buttery diacytel, stale raspberries, light acidity, dry finish. I think the base beer would be better without the raspberries. Waxy medium bodied with fine carbonation. CaryTheDude (1113), Longmont, Colorado, USA Apr 27, 2009 Crushed with Jakebra. Nice nose of tart raspberries. Flavor has the raspberries and some poop. One of the better fruit beers I’ve had in a while. It’s not excellent, but still aight.
