looks liek raspberry vinegar. smells like raspberry duh. carbonated but watery feel. half sour. raspberry ice t sugary finish. not one of the best. taste kind of mealy and meatish.

raspberry tart sweetz with a little sour aroma. dull rose haze looks. raspberry juice flavor real fruit, tart sweets. light palate, not very flavor packed, minor sour.

Bottle, picked up at the Dodgy Deli’, Cowley Rd, Oxford, 15-09-06. Pours a red/pink colour, with small white foamy head, some carbonation. Aroma smelt a little perfumey on first opening but then the raspberries were unleashed. Plenty of raspberry flavours, quite sharp with a real bite, good fruit beer.

This fruit beer pours a deep red color from a 330ml bottle. Small to medium sized white foamy head. Aroma is raspberries and sweet. A medium bodied fruit beer. Malts are sweet. Lots of raspberry flavors that tend more towards the sweet. Lively, but mild carbonation. A touch thin and a little acidic. Flavors seem a little subdued. Mouthfeel is full. Finish is clean and smooth. Aftertaste is slightly sweet.

Pours red amber into a tulip. Raspberry jello aromas. Agressive pour produces little head that quickly dissipates in large bubbles to skim the surface. Flat. Raspberries from start to finish with minor bite upon lasting closure.

Bottle: Deep pink, nearly red, quite dirty with sedmiment, large frothy head, ever so slight pink hue, spotty lacing, lively carbonation.   Musty nose of raspberries and basement.   Remains musty on the tongue.   Not as flavorful as one might imagine, but just enough to distinguish it as a raspberry.   Soft mouthfeel, effervescent but not as much as I would have thought based on the bubbles.   Quick finish, slightly dry, but not much fruitiness bringing up the rear.   Enjoyable, definitely not fake like many examples, but not as strong as I would have liked.

i like this beer. pours a dark brownish red and has a creamy collar with small amount traling lace. it smells like sweet, smoky rasberries and ends a bit drier than other framboises i have tasted.

Framboise pours a deep reddish purple with a light pink creamy head. Good retention. Aroma is heavily raspberry and dark berries. Still more berry flavor and as it warms a smooth nuttiness develops. See, this is based off their Amber, which becomes apparent as the malt aspect grows. The flavors in this beer are more dynamic than any other in recent memory, even though they’re quite straightforward. The beer is rich and brandy-like on the palate with good carbonation. It’s slightly dry and extremely long. A very pleasant experience. It probably should rate higher than what I gave it.
