Huge, lacy head. Looks like raspberry bullshit to me, more brown than red or pink, but hey this isn’t a lambic. Taste is watered down (lake water) but finishes nicely. Just never tasted right to me, not enough to justify purchasing it again. OldGrowth (1426), North Carolina, USA

| 2.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 2/5 | 4/10 | 3/5 | 8/20 | Nov 14, 2005 33cl bottle from Auchan, Calais. Deep red colour with no head. Strong aroma of raspberry jam. If you want alcoholic raspebeery juice, then this is it. Some sourness kicks in towards the end. Bit of raspberry seeds flavour too. Although I liked this and found it drinkable and would have it again, I’m not sure that I can give it a higher score compared with other fruit beers I have had
