Body is hazy medium reddish-amber, bottle conditioned. Aroma is lightly malty (toasted grain), lightly yeasty (mold/basement), with a note of raspberry with lots of seeds/wood, light note of detergent. Flavor is moderately sweet, lightly to moderately acidic, lightly bitter. Finish is lightly sweet, lightly to moderately acidic, moderately bitter, slightly unclean. Medium body, watery texture, lively carbonation, lightly astringent. Second try a few years later and still not enjoying this one...slightly unpleasant finish, not very alluring nose, watery. Blah. The aroma is largely raspberry but you can detected some earthy qualities and a hint of malt. The taste is lightly tart, overall very nice as it wasn’t cloy nor was it gueze puckering. Easy to drink palate, fizzy but there is bit of body to this as well. Yep, it’s girly, so frickin’ what, wanna make something of it? Nice brew for a starter to the evening. | 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 2/5 | 14/20 | Dec 10, 2004 Reddish colour with white head. Aroma is sweet with a lot of rasberry. Flavor has a lot of sweetness again with rasberry. Reminds me of Lambrusco wine except this is much better. lachesis (759), St Idesbald, Belgium
| 2.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 11/20 | Nov 12, 2004 Nice red-amber color with fluffy airy head. It has fine aroma’s of fresh raspberry’s with a cherrybrandy accent and some nutty hints. This beer has a smooth taste with again some nutty accents in it and a touch of dry raspberry fruityness ( watery tasting raspberry’s ) The afthertaste is smooth and a little on the light side. It ends with a refraishing dry mouthfeel. Shag (1923), Chattanooga, Tennessee, USA
| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 2/5 | 14/20 | Nov 9, 2004 The appearance heya is a reddish color with some hints of purple. This has a mouthfeel similar to champagne due to the extreme amount of carbonation. The flavor is a little watery with pretty much just a slighty sour raspberry taste. This one sort is sort of confused as to whether its a fruit beer or a lambic. Well overall its not too bad for the style madsberg (5045), Søborg, Denmark
| 2.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 2/5 | 9/20 | Oct 18, 2004 Bottled: Reddish coloured. Clear. Not much head. Has a light raspberry aroma. Is sweet and sodapopish. Flavour as well is very sweet but has a nice raspberry charachter. Is a bit cloying in the long run. One of my friends called it a typical "girlsbeer", but the ladies in the company poured it into the drain. robertsreality (2460), Minnesota, USA

Begins Very Well. - Wonderful Raspberry Flavor...and Then Towards the End it Makes you Pucker a Bit. Tart and Dry. Some Wheat in There As Well. Definitly Not the Worst Framboise Out There, But There are Better to be Found. badgerben (3605), Blaine, Minnesota, USA
| 2.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 4/10 | 2/5 | 8/20 | Sep 13, 2004 Red color with a large, almost white head. Aroma of raspberries. Odd taste as it starts out with raspberries, but quickly turns almost wheat-ish and dry. It seems like they may have infused their Blonde with raspberries instead of making a new beer. Not one I’d have again.
