Bottled. Amber with tomato. White head. Aroma of pure sweet rasberry, and nothing else. Flavor is smooth of a smooth rasberry candy that you only find at your grandmother’s house, the one with the bumps. The one’s you chomp down on that are initially hard. This is that rasberry candy. Fizzy with lively carbonation all over the tongue. So much carbonation almost a spicey burn down the throat. But it’s that God damn rasberry candy.

750 from West Lakeview Liquor, Chicago. Hazy red with slight pink head. Aroma was fruity, not neccesarily raspberries but slight berry fruit, semi-sweet but mostly grain. Flavor was very grainy and medicinal, Where is the tart flavors? Where is the sour? The fruit flavor in there is very syrupy and fake feeling not unlike an alcopop. So bad. Body was fizzy and thin. I was really looking forward to this beer, oh so bad!!

labeled as11.2oz bottle, that sure looked like a 750ml bottle –-pours a retaining thin pink/white head and red color. Aroma is raspberry. Taste is sour raspberry, vinegar, medium malt, yeast, barnyard, aspirin/medicinal. If this is the right end product, not my taste . 1.4

If you stopped at the aroma of this beer, you might thing you are on to something incredibly delicious, both syrupy sweet and fruity at the same time. However, that’s not the case. The aroma is straight up raspberry jam. No two ways about it. It’s enought to get the uninitiated juices flowing. Appearance is deep red in color, pink fizzy head which surprisingly had some staying power. Mouthfeel was thin and minerally. Flavor was weak raspberries, not sweet at all, surprisingly dry almost like drinking some kind of alcohopop raspberry thing. It wasn’t horrible at all, just a bit of a let down considering how inviting the aroma and appearnce was.

Poured a cloudy redish color small head almost no lacing. Aroma was lots and lots of raspberries and that barnyard funk. Flavor was mostly raspberries and lost of must. Nice fruit beer.

375ml bottle @ David Copperfield’s in NYC. Courtesy of super cool beer manager/bartender Joey. Pinkish red pour with a light bright pink head. Nose is sweet and razzy. Taste is razzy on the front with a dead back end. Slightly sweet, slightly sour. Decent.
