JorisPPattyn (4275), Antwerpen, Belgium Aug 18, 2006 Chestnut-amber beer, fully hazy; small, fine yellowish head. Woody, bush notes, dark undergrowth; some chocolate, but also, strangely, greenmalt. Lot of burnt notes, malty both pale and dark. Slight sourish edge, and a perfumed hint that reminds me of dry chocolate powder and dark leaves. Medium bodied, spritzy and refreshing without becoming gassy. Nice Ardennes beer. Not really great, but pleasing and easy drinking. Thanks to Stef.
