Dec 31, 2006 Bright, light amber colour. Fresh apple aroma, with light nutmeg. Crazy tart apples with decadent sugar & spice. A little gingery at the end. Fair bit of tartness, especially for a Face Cachee, and this lends an interesting crispness to the usually sugar & spice goodness.

Dec 31, 2006 (375ml bottle) Purchased at Marché des Saveurs, Montreal for $26. Gorgeous appearance of brown sugar deepened into apple cider. Nose is somewhat burnt with an aged apple core aroma. Flavour is beautiful - alcoholic, sweet, tart, peppery. I love the freshness. Unparalleled. Deserves a ranking in the Quebec greats of this cider style.
