Reddish brown, moderate malt and caramel sweetness along with red fruit sourness, reminding of an oud bruin. Some spices in the end, light body for 8%. Good one.

(33cl bottle) Cloudy, mahagony colour with a huge beige foamy head. Sourish sweet and slightly toasted malty aroma with caramel and a shy spicy hoppy touch. Sweet and sour flavour, medium to full bodied with a moderate carbonation. Toasty malty taste with acidic fruity flavours and caramel. Dry, slightly sweet and berry-fruity finish. As there is no hint of a bb-date on the label, I guess this one is already a bit over the edge (23.II.09).

Bottle. Cloudy bronze with an initially big tan head. Fruity, sweet and spicy aroma- complex, but sweetness prevails. Substantial beer, alcohol-wise and in body, almost sirupy. Tastes quite good, actually, I believe the spices are keeping the bon-bon sweetness somewhat in check. Good fruitiness. Noticeable alcohol. Not at all bad.
