La Fromulus Bière de Steenvorde Brune Cuvée Speciale

More enjoyable than I expected when I bougt this beer in a garage-shop in northern France 2002 for less than 2 €. Fruity biere de garde body with lots of chocolate and not to balanced but still a rather interesting beer. One of the worst motive on the bottle I ever seen. Looks like a someone has done it in 3 minutes. Hope I can upload picture soon.

Bottled. Very dark ruby, rich head. Interesting fruity meat soup aroma. Sweet and soft, very buttery with plenty of chocolate and cocktail cherries. Finish with some bitter cocoa. There’s a lot going on in this beer and it gives a chaotic impression. Very interesting stuff indeed.
