tiggmtl (4178), Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada Jun 14, 2005 Plum-like fruitiness and mild undertone of anis in the sweet, malty aroma. Clear, burnished copper coloured body with a low tan head that recedes to partial cover. Licorice and dark pit fruit flavours are apparent in the sweet, thick maltiness with fair finishing bitterness and herbal, grassy hop notes. Medium-full body is quite sticky with moderate carbonation. Sampled at Mondial de la Bière 2005.

Aroma is complex: lot of dried fruits, sweetness, anise and hint of alcohol. Flavour is also very complex: fruits, spice and sweetness that dried in the end and flavour changes slightly roasted and hoppiness. Full bodied beer with quite much of cacrbonation but still quite nice to drink. Complex, cristmas-like, sweet beer with lot of pleasant nuancees.
