Ungstrup (11164), Frederiksberg, Denmark Nov 1, 2005 A slightly hazy dark orange beer with a huge off-white head. The aroma is very sweet and very fruity, combined with notes of yeast - of the fruits oranges comes thru. The flavor is also very sweet and very fruity with oranges and peaches coming thru, then notes of yeast and hints of alcohol comes along, before it in the end turns spicy with some coriander and cloves. Papsoe (9999), Frederiksberg, Denmark Jun 4, 2005 (Bottle 33 cl) My version at 9,3% ABV. Jesus, this almost exploded out of the bottle as soon as the cap was removed. Lots of pressure, lots of carbonation - the yeast must have worked overtime in here. Golden with some haze. Some malty notes and a hint of some bitter hops. Slight spice but first and foremost this is very strong with a very pronounced alcohol. 070397 Oakes (6853), Miami Beach, Florida, USA Dec 27, 2002 Strong golden ale, avec chunks. Stiff alcohol shot, cloying residual sugars, too much perfume. Simple beer. Quite similar to Delerium Tremens. yespr (6400), Copenhagen O, Denmark May 3, 2008 33 cL bottle. Pours golden orange with a lots of yeast sediments floating around. Initial huge white head, slowly collapsing into a nice lacework. Aroma is yeasty and fruity, very inviting and fresh. Flavour picks up on the fruity flavours from the yeast and shows a light floral note in addition to this. Sweet caramel malt swept around this together with a mellow yeasty note and a light uplifting flavour from the alcohol. Ends fresh and slowly warming. Nice one. kp (6200), Woodstock, Georgia, USA Sep 1, 2007 Date: 10/21/1997
