La Lièvre Ginger Beer Épice

The aroma is dominated with ginger, spicy, yet sweet ginger. The flavour is clean, and crisp with loads of ginger spiciness. An interesting brew, but not something i would drink regularily.

Bouteille de 341 ml. La bière se présente avec une robe dorée surmontée d’une mousse blanche modeste. Au nez on est envahit par des arômes de gingembre. On peu aussi détecter des effluves de bananes et de grain. En bouche la bière est crémeuse et douce contrairement à ce qu’on aurait pu croire avec ses puissants arômes de gingembre.

Lightly cloudy poor with a very bubbly white head with very finely ground ginger (at least i think its ginger) floating around. Aromas of packed yeast, HINTS of ginger, arrowroot and a little bit of spruce. OVERLY carbonated almost fake. The carbonation is destroying any flavors and / or mouthfeel this beer might actually have. Light ginger taste... just weird.

12oz bottle with a November brewed date, purchased in the early summer at Trappe A Fromage in Gatineau. Pours a light cloudy white with uncontrollable head. Massive carbonation and some little bits (ginger? doesn’t really look like it) floating around in all the bubbles. Weak, somewhat yeasty aroma. The flavour is initially spicy, although ginger is not particularly evident. Unfortunately, the flavour is relatively weak and watery overall.

En fût. Verre de 4 oz dégusté au Saint-Bock (Montréal, QC). Arôme: Forte odeur de gingembre. Apparence: La couleur est blonde avce une faible densité de bulle. Présence d’un mince col mousseux et d’une fine dentelle sur le verre. Saveur: Goût de gingembre légèrement sucré. Durée moyenne de l’arrière goût. Palette: Le corps est mince avec une texture légèrement minérale. Mince effervescence en bouche. Légère présence de sucre en arrière goût. (Rating #1146)
