bitter (1137), Henderson, Nevada, USA Jul 12, 2006 funny little spot in the airport, looked just like a small, off to the side cafe, but i could see the various taps sticking up. and i knew i had found the beer ’in the airport" hazy beer with a n apple nose. slight wheat, spice flavors watered down backfeel with a bit of off flavors. ehh. vanvenlo (784), Glen Iris, Australia Sep 1, 2005 27 Jun 2005 - (Bangkok Airport, Terminal 2, Brewpub - 2nd last beer before going home) - Citrus and vinuos aromas. Light cloudy and light yellow-brown colour, good lacing and reasonmable head. Vinuos citrus and light malt flavour. Tangy bitter and fruit finish with medium mouthfeel. Lunkie (1006), Glen Iris, Australia Jul 5, 2005 Location: Bangkok Airport. Grass aroma with hops. Cloudy yellow apperance with fair head and lacing. Hop flavour with malt. Fizzy palate. Oakes (6853), Miami Beach, Florida, USA Nov 27, 2004 Dull beige, hazy. Aroma of garbage, apple skins, wheat, banana. Slight tartness, very raw malt husk character. Astringent, minerally finish. Unpleasant. Sully (1363), Woolloomooloo, New South Wales, Australia Feb 9, 2004 Brewed in American tradition????? Uh oh, I was hoping for a Belgian or German tradition. Anyway, let's look past that and concentrate on the beer at hand. It certainly looks like a wheat beer, agreeably pale yellow and hazy. The flavour immeidately suggests an ale yeast though, as there are fruity overtones but not the big ones provided by a wit/wiezen. You know, landing at Bangkok airport you really want something like this to begin with. It's okay but doesn't make me jump up and down.
