Ungstrup (11031), Frederiksberg, Denmark Aug 27, 2005 An unclear orange beer with a disappearing head. The aroma is of ginger, coriander, and oranges. The flavor is malty, wheat, and spicy with ginger, coriander, and citrus being most dominant, and leading to a dry end, but the body is thin. Rastacouere (5258), Montréal, Quebec, Canada Jul 28, 2005 Cloudy golden, low head doesn’t want to stay. Light acidity, faint spiciness with a mellow dryness procured by bitter orange. Tons of coriander, milky and rooty. Frankly uninteresting, biting carbonation, grainy finish, spices all the way. Yuck. tiggmtl (4169), Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada Jul 18, 2005 Lemon-citrus-orange, coriander aroma is very tart and unappealing. Translucent yellow-tan with low white fully-diminishing head. Lemon-citrus, coriander and ginger are overwhelming with mild wheat character in the finish. Light body with low carbonation and watery texture. Sampled at the brewpub with Oakes, Rastacouere and Ungstrup. GonZoBeeR (1990), ste-Eulalie, Quebec, Canada Jul 17, 2005 Aroma:Ginger,orange....
Appearance:Amber gold,no head....
Flavor:Water and ginger... Oakes (6819), Miami Beach, Florida, USA Jul 16, 2005 Shimmering amber/dark straw colour. Smells likes coriander soup. Tastes a lot like coriander soup, too. This helps mask some of the underfermented worty notes, lack of any discernable hop and plasticy undertones, but not enough to make it a viable beer.
