Citrus aroma and taste. Nice flaming gold appearance. Enjoyable bitter final. A good IPA. MartinT (5075), Montreal, Quebec, Canada

Delicate citrusy, perfumy hops decorate the svelte body of this Double IPA without frills. Resinous hop bitterness is expectedly sturdy, and quenching is achieved.
Further Personal Perceptions:
-A veil of foam tops the clear gold.
-Alcohol is well hidden, and thus drinkability is increased.
-Sourness peeks from the nose; will this one turn soon like most of their beers that were off that night?
-Malts don’t offer lots of flavor, but the body created is healthy and nearly balances out the chewy hop infusion.

How: Tap at brewpub
The look: Clear copper body with a big-bubbled medium beige head
In long: Some citrus and hops on the nose. Basic caramelized malts with hints of brown sugar. Basic but tasty C-hops blends with citrus/orangey flavours. The aggressive carbonation, apparent alcohol and sharp bitterness come together for a rather harsh finish. Fortunately this was filtered thus sparing us from the annoying yeast profile of their other beers. Very standard but very acceptable beer. The conventional accountant in a family of psychotic misfits.
