33cl bottle. Poured a medium and hazy golden color with a huge, huge sized white head. Aromas of yeast (strong initially and then almost completely faded), lightly fruity, and spicy. Tastes of sweet apples, very light yeast, and spices. Body somewhat on the thin side. Alcohol content hidden. Lots of thick and fluffy lacing left on the glass. This one grew on me as I drank more.

1 Jun 2005 - Luscious stone fruit and complex hop aroma. Cloudy blonde colour, great head and lacing. Lovely light sweet fruit flavour. Tangy, medium mouthfeel and lingering finish.

(Bottle 33 cl) This origianal version from "Brasserie Ruwet" in Thimister - mostly known for their ciders. Golden, almost honey coloured, hazy with a nice, dense head. Very soft mouthfeel without any pronounced bitterness - rather a slight, somewhat citrusy tartness. Very delicious and pleasant ale. 080799

Sweet hop aroma with malt. Cloudy yellow colour with excellent head and lacing. Sharp bitter flavour with smooth malt aftertaste. Fizzy palate.

Bottle, Brussels, May 2005. Head is initially average sized, frothy, white, mostly lasting. Body is hazy medium yellow, bottle conditioned. Aroma is lightly malty (toasted grain), moderately hoppy (herbs, flowers, lemon), lightly yeasty (cobwebs), with a note of coriander. Flavor is moderately sweet, lightly acidic, lightly bitter. Finish is lightly sweet, lightly acidic, moderately bitter. Medium body, velvety texture, lively carbonation, lightly alcoholic. A nicely balanced, hoppy and seemingly spiced blond ale. Pleasant.
